okay getting excited for life again.
friday I was totally down on life and really feeling like I was sick of being here, just really annoyed and all that sort of thing. Yesterday we (Staci M, Karissa C, Jess O, Amanda C, Alli H, Lindsay D, Bethany C and myself) went to Viareggio on the train to go to the beach. I got the most sunburned I've ever been EVER. in my LIFE. but it was also the greatest time I've had here so far. There are mountains in the background and the beach is beauuutiful. I lost my fave sunglasses but it gave me an excuse to get the cheap fake wayfarers I've been wanting for a while so I'm trying not to be sad about it. I was just looking at some of the seniors' pictures from NYC (last semester when they were studying there) and I got really excited about it. I know I'm in italy right now and I need to focus on loving that but I seriously am really excited for ny. Our first project in sewing is due tomorrow, a draped half muslin of the Dior New Look jacket. No biggie. I need to get going on it but I am just really distracted by the internet right now.

Our school has 24hr access though so I can be here as late as I want (free of threats). just wanted to check in.
